Open Access

Reader access is free; reuse depends on the rights statement for each paper.

Policies Open Access

The Series provides free public access to its working-paper pages. For each deposited paper, the corresponding OAsis item record provides access to the repository copy of the full text. Readers do not need a Series account or subscription.

Fees

The Series does not charge readers to view paper pages or follow links to deposited full text. It does not currently charge authors a submission fee or article processing charge.

Access is not a blanket reuse license

Open access describes the ability to read the work without a paywall. It does not place every paper in the public domain and does not create one license for the entire Series.

Copyright and license terms are record-specific. Readers must follow the rights statement on the paper page and OAsis item record, obtain permission when required, and provide appropriate attribution. See Copyright, Licensing & Permissions.

Repository access

The Series designates the OAsis item record and deposited full text as the permanent repository record for each deposited paper. OAsis provides the repository service, persistent item URL, file access, preservation support, and usage information. The Editorial Board remains responsible for Series selection, issue placement, policy, and status notices.

File access may be limited when a credible rights, privacy, safety, or integrity concern requires review. A restriction or withdrawal follows the Expressions of Concern, Withdrawal & Takedown policy and, when an OAsis file is involved, requires coordination with OAsis.

Accessibility

Free access does not by itself make a document accessible. Readers who encounter a barrier may use the Accessibility policy to request assistance or report the problem.
